Fancy these KRE-Os to grace your collection shelves? This has got to be the latest craze to hit town. It's appearing on retail shelves everywhere and I believe sales have been pretty good too since there were instances where I noticed that certain main characters were actually missing from the shelves. I happened to be at a particular retail store where they had just finished stacking up their new stock of KRE-Os. Just what the heck are these darn KRE-O toys anyway you might ask? Well, in a nutshell, these are 'LEGO-like' brick toys made by a Korean toy manufacturer albeit a fraction of the cost normally found on their LEGO counterpart.
The price ain't half bad too. The 'normal' sized KRE-O Transformers are priced at RM59.90 or roughly USD20...and they have core characters such as Optimus Prime, Bumble Bee, Jazz, Mirage....just to name a few.
The bigger sized ones (akin to the 'Leader Class' figure me thinks!) are priced higher at RM179.90 or orughly USD60! But from what I've seen, their alternate/vehicle mode looks sweet and very faithful to the film/cartoon look so I guess they're worth your bucks if you're really into the LEGO-craze but unwilling to splash the ridiculous amount of cash to meet the crazy demands of the Danish brick-toy company! Not bad of a character selection too....these bigger sized KRE-Os offer Optimus Prime, Megatron, Starscream....just to name a few.
